Agent Governance Blueprint

We build the standard your agents are held to.

The Challenge

Most AI agent deployments have monitoring. Very few have governance.

Monitoring tells you whether an agent is working. Governance tells you whether it is behaving as the organisation designed and approved it to behave, and gives you a defensible record of that assessment.

You may have encountered this gap already. Your board or risk function asked how you are governing a deployed agent. You had uptime metrics, response time dashboards, and error rates. What you did not have was a document that defined what the agent was supposed to do, how it was supposed to behave, and whether it was meeting that standard. The monitoring answered whether it was working. It could not answer whether it
was behaving correctly.

Or there was an incident — a response that caused concern, a pattern of outputs that did not seem right — and when you tried to investigate, there was no defined standard to measure against. You could see something was off. You could not demonstrate, with evidence, what approved behaviour looked like and what had deviated from it.

This is not a monitoring failure. It is the absence of a governance specification — a defined, measurable standard the agent is held to. It can only be closed by building one.

What We Do

The Agent Governance Blueprint translates the intent behind an AI agent deployment into a concrete governance specification.

Working from the Agent Behaviour Profile — or, for post-deployment clients, from a direct assessment of the deployed agent — we define the outcomes the agent is expected to produce, the quality standards each output should meet, the risk register for this specific deployment, and the measurement brief that specifies how compliance will be evaluated.

The Blueprint is written to be operable. Not a policy document that sits in a governance register, but a working specification that a risk function can audit against, a board can cite, and AegentIQ can be configured from.

For enterprises that have already deployed without a specification, Blueprint creates that standard now. The process is the same. The urgency is higher.

Deliverable

Governance Specification

  • Defined outcomes — what the agent should reliably produce
  • Quality standards — the measurable criteria each output should meet
  • Risk register — the specific risks this deployment carries, with severity and likelihood
  • Boundary conditions — what is outside the agent’s authorised scope
  • Measurement brief — how each standard will be monitored in production
  • AegentIQ configuration brief — ready for platform configuration

How It Connects

The Governance Specification is the brief for Governed Implementation — the build that follows should be accountable to it. It is also the configuration input for AegentIQ, which monitors whether the deployed agent is meeting the standards it defines. If the Blueprint follows a Maturity Assessment, it is the remediation action for any governance gaps the assessment identified.
