Agent Behaviour Maturity Assessment

We assess how well your deployed agents are being governed — and what needs to change before you scale.

The Challenge

Most enterprises with AI agents in production do not know how well governed those agents are. They know whether their agents are working. They do not know whether they are behaving as designed.

The moment this gap becomes visible tends to be specific. The board asks for a governance summary of your AI agent programme and the answer is less clear than expected. Your Chief Risk Officer asks what oversight is in place for agents currently operating in production and the honest answer involves more uncertainty than is comfortable to report upward. An audit flags AI governance as an area of concern. A regulatory review puts your deployments under scrutiny, and your documentation does not fully answer the questions being asked.

Or the trigger is internal. You want to scale your AI agent programme — extend existing agents to higher-stakes decisions, add new ones — and you are not confident the governance is ready for that expansion. You want to know where you stand before you find out the harder way.

The Agent Behaviour Maturity Assessment gives you that picture.

What We Do

The Agent Behaviour Maturity Assessment applies the AI Agent Behaviour Maturity Model (AABMM) — Zypero Intellect’s proprietary framework for evaluating AI agent programme maturity — across six dimensions. Each is assessed at one of four levels: Unmanaged, Developing, Structured, or Governed.

Dimension 1 — Strategy & Use Case Governance

Whether the organisation has a structured approach to identifying, approving, and prioritising AI agent use cases — and whether the rationale for each deployment is documented and defensible.

Dimension 2 — Design & Behavioural Standards

Whether behavioural standards are defined before agents are built — and whether those standards are specific enough to measure rather than general enough to avoid.

Dimension 3 — Implementation Governance

Whether governance is built into implementation decisions rather than added onto them after deployment — and whether high-consequence decisions are documented at go-live.

Dimension 4 — Governance Specification

Whether each deployed agent has a formal, measurable governance specification that a risk function or regulator could audit against.

Dimension 5 — Monitoring & Behavioural Oversight

Whether production behaviour is being measured against the agreed standard, drift can be detected early, and a named executive is accountable for each agent’s behaviour in production.

Dimension 6 — Organisational Governance Capability

Whether the organisation has the structure, skills, processes, and board-level oversight to sustain AI agent governance over time and at scale.

Findings are mapped against NIST AI RMF and ISO 42001, giving the organisation a clear picture of its regulatory alignment alongside its operational maturity.

Deliverable

Maturity Report

  • AABMM maturity rating across all six dimensions — with evidence for each rating
  • Gap analysis — what is absent at each dimension relative to the Governed level
  • NIST AI RMF alignment mapping — by dimension
  • ISO 42001 alignment mapping — by dimension
  • Risk prioritisation — which gaps represent the greatest current exposure
  • Remediation roadmap — a prioritised, sequenced set of actions to close identified gaps
  • Board-ready executive summary — findings and recommended actions in one page

How It Connects

The Maturity Assessment is the fastest way to understand where your AI agent programme stands. For many organisations it is the right starting point — before deciding which other services are needed.

Where the assessment identifies gaps in governance specification, the Agent Governance Blueprint addresses them. Where it identifies gaps in production monitoring, AegentIQ is the instrument. Where it identifies gaps in implementation governance, Governed Implementation is the remediation. The assessment finds the gaps. The other services close them.
